Everyone loves New York, right? To the point where even saying it sounds like an opportunity to roll your eyes at the obviousness of it all. Well, here’s my travel confession: I only recently fell in love with New York after visiting it for the first time a few years ago. Always the cynic, I expected it to be overrated and not to get it. Wrong, wrong, wrong. Now I read everything about NYC, I devour lifestyle blogs by uber-fashionable types about their glam lives downtown and I double-tap every single pic of New York on Instagram, even if it’s just a garbage can. You get it, I’m obsessed.

24 hours in New York City? Now you’re talking!

Yes, I know, another USA post – what can I say? I’m obsessed with the place! Not so long ago, I was lucky enough to spend 24 fabulous hours in NYC – got there at 5pm and was in the car being whisked away to the Hamptons by 5pm the next day so literally 24 precious hours. I know what you’re screaming, ’that isn’t long enough for New York!’ and yes, I agree. But still, you’d have to be a moron to turn down the chance to spend even 20 minutes in the world’s best loved city, right? So, I managed to pack as much into every minute of those 24 hours and still leave wanting New York’s babies. If you’re wondering what I got up to, here’s a run through:
